3 years ago I met Scout and her family here at Royal Subaru in Cortland. They had been in town to get Scout set up for college and to help find her very first car.
Frustrated. Her dad David was very frustrated by the time he wasted and lack of help or willingness to meet his goal that was displayed by the dealers he had visited that day.
When we met, it was the end of the day and we only had a few minutes to visit as the store was closing. I suggested dinner and a place to spend the night and the very next morning we worked together.
We found the right car... a new 2019 Subaru Impreza (had to be 4 wheel drive) and we were under the payment goal with a car that was perfect for Scout.
Over the next 3 years "Uncle" Bill and the TEAM at Royal helped Scout and her family with the car... and on occasion... with life.
They knew that "Uncle" Bill would be there to ease the distance that home and college often brings, and for them it was trust, friendship and family.
Here we are, 3 years later, and Scout has graduated college and is ready to be a veterinarian! Congratulations to you Scout, you worked for and succeeded with your goal.
Her dad, David came to visit and decided that it's time for Scout to move up to the New 2022 Subaru Crosstrek now that she has graduated and is ready to head home to begin her career.
To David, Mariam and Scout: Thank you for your business, trust and most of all your friendship.
Having you as part of my family here at Royal has been my honor and pleasure.
Scout... I am always a phone call away no matter where life takes you and will always be ready to help if I can as that's what family is. Congratulations again!
